Accessibility Statement

Rep-Air Heating and Cooling wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, voice control, magnification or other assistive technology. If anything gets in your way, we will help you another way, including booking service by phone.

Our Standard

We work to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content easier to use for people with a wide range of disabilities. They are the standard referred to by Canadian accessibility laws and by guidance under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This is a goal we work toward and check against, not a certification.

What We Do

• A "Skip to main content" link and full keyboard access to menus, forms and buttons.
• A visible focus outline so you can see where you are on the page.
• Text alternatives for meaningful images, and a single clear heading on each page.
• Text and buttons with colour contrast that meets the AA level.
• Labels and error messages on every form field, and large tap targets on phones.
• Reduced motion when your device asks for it.
• Pages that work on phones, tablets and computers, and when zoomed in to 200%.

How We Check

We test the site with automated accessibility tools and by hand, including keyboard-only use, when we make changes. We review the whole site at least once a year. The site is built to work with current versions of common browsers and screen readers.

Known Limitations

Some content comes from other providers, such as embedded maps, the customer reviews widget and financing applications. We choose providers carefully, but we cannot fully control how accessible their content is. Some older articles and uploaded documents may also fall short of the standard. We fix problems as we find them and work with providers to improve theirs.
