Sumit is a first-year gas fitter with a love for learning the trade. He is young, strong and determined to make things better than when he got there. He is always smiling, easy to be around and a great team player. He has one younger brother and enjoys golf, hiking, and hitting the gym in his spare time. Sushi is his go-to meal. Fluent in five languages, he values the family feel at Rep-Air and the supportive environment that helps him grow in his career.

Sumit is one of our first-year gas fitters, and from the moment he joined the team, his drive to learn and grow has been impossible to miss. Whether he’s assisting on installations, learning new techniques, or tackling challenging projects, Sumit approaches every day with curiosity and determination. His mindset is simple: leave things better than he found them.
What truly stands out about Sumit is his positive energy. He’s the type of teammate who always brings a smile to the job site, ready to lend a hand or crack a joke when the day gets long. That attitude, combined with his natural strength and focus, makes him an incredible asset to both our team and our customers.
Originally from a close-knit family, Sumit has one younger brother and speaks an impressive five languages, a skill that helps him connect with people from all walks of life. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active through golf, hiking, and hitting the gym. And when it’s time to unwind? You’ll probably find him enjoying one of his favourite meals… sushi!
When asked what he enjoys most about working at Rep-Air, Sumit didn’t hesitate:
